2017 VMAS Red Carpet Recap

The red carpet portion is my favorite part of any hollywood event. This is the portion of the event when you get to see your favorite stars, their head turning apparel of choice for the night and ooh and aah at all the slayage happening before your eyes.
This recap is in honor of the upcoming MTV VMAS on August 20, 2018. I have gathered a list of my favorites in order from my least favorite to the piece that slayed my life. Now just a friendly reminder we keep it positive here on GFL so there wont be any bashing of any kind allowed. Now let’s get this party started!

Quick disclaimer: The pictures used in this post are not my own.

First up we have Vanessa Hudgens or how I will forever remember her, Gabriella Montez in a red strapless dress designed by Yanina Couture. This look was my least fave due to the length of the dress.

Olivia Munn stepped out in a mini dress with intricate embroidering detail designed by Nicolas Jebran.

Up next we have the beautiful, talented and intelligent, Yara Shahidi. Yara’s red carpet style is always elegant and was no different at the VMAS as she stepped out in a beautifully draped Zimmerman moment.

Hostess of the night, Katy Perry wore this body hugging white gown designed by Stephanie Rolland.

Model, Alessandra Ambrosio stepped on the scene all laced up! With one of the most head turning looks of the night designed by one of my top five designers, Balmain.

Curves popping, face glowing, Bebe Rexha takes the next spot in this beautifully beaded LaBourjoisie dress.

Although we are almost at the end of this list we could not forget about muva herself, Amber Rose. Not only did she make a statement in this beaded and bare custom Yousef Aljasmi but she came through with this beautiful wig. What can’t she rock?

My top red carpet moment of the night was donned by model, Hailey Baldwin. Hailey stole the show in a stunning jumpsuit made by my favorite designer, Zuhair Murad.

This rounds up my favorites from the 2017 MTV VMAS red carpet. Be sure to stick around for my 2018 red carpet recap. Hope you guys enjoyed this different style of blog from me, it was so much fun to do.
